Intent
At Lyndon Green Infant School, we make music an enjoyable learning experience. We want to foster a love for music and provide a creative outlet for the children in our school. We encourage children to participate in musical experiences to build up the confidence of all children. Our teaching focuses on developing the children’s ability to understand musical terminology and features. In this way children can understand rhythm, follow a beat and explore the structure and organisation of music. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to develop their musical potential and we aim to nurture and encourage musical development across the school.
