Reception

In our Reception classes we learn in a variety of ways.  We engage in whole class, teacher led groups and child initiated play based activities. Throughout the week there are opportunities for the children to participate in indoor and outdoor  activities.   We have a daily Little Wandle phonics lessons and Can Do Maths lessons. Throughout the week we teach all other areas of the Foundation curriculum. 

Curriculum

For Maths, Can Do Maths is delivered in smaller class groups.  The opportunity is also provided for the chidlren to apply their skills and knowledge independently in continuous provision.
